ND:YAG 1064nm vascular laser
for leg veins, telangiectasias and rosacea

The ND:YAG 1064nm vascular laser is an advanced device designed to penetrate deeply into the skin and selectively target haemoglobin within blood vessels. This selective action makes it particularly suitable for treating leg capillaries, deeper telangiectasias and a range of vascular lesions that may be resistant to other techniques. The laser emits a well-defined monochromatic light in the near-infrared range, with a wavelength of 1064nm, enabling it to reach deeper vessels while minimising damage to the surrounding tissues. In expert hands, ND:YAG technology can be used to treat selected angiomas, telangiectasias, certain forms of vascular rosacea, keloids and rhinophyma, always following a thorough dermatologic assessment.

Therapeutic perspectives

At MAVIT, the ND:YAG 1064nm laser is mainly employed for telangiectasias of the lower limbs, resistant facial and leg capillaries, small angiomas and, in selected cases, vascular rosacea and other complex vascular lesions. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual and takes into account any underlying venous insufficiency, which may require a combined approach. Depending on the indication, ND:YAG laser sessions can be integrated with sclerotherapy or other vascular lasers, with the goal of significantly reducing vessel visibility, improving overall skin tone uniformity and enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the treated areas, with progressive and long-lasting results under high safety standards.
