Botulinum toxin type A is widely used in aesthetic medicine to selectively relax the muscles that create expression lines. On the face, it is mainly indicated for the upper third (forehead, glabella, crow’s feet), where it helps soften dynamic wrinkles while preserving natural expression, giving a more rested look that typically lasts around 4–6 months.
In selected cases, very diluted micro-injections can also be used on the neck and décolleté to improve fine lines and the overall smoothness of the skin, with carefully adjusted doses according to skin quality and sensitivity.
