Lipolytic mesotherapy: targeted treatment for localised fat

Lipolytic mesotherapy is a targeted treatment for localised fat that uses intradermal microinjections of fat-reducing and draining agents. It is designed for small, resistant fat deposits that do not respond well to diet and exercise, typically in areas such as the abdomen, flanks, saddle bags, inner thighs, knees and, in selected cases, the upper arms.

Using very fine needles, specific medications are injected locally to act on adipocytes, promoting their gradual emptying, while improving microcirculation and lymphatic drainage, leading to a more even reduction of volume.

Treatment options

At MAVIT, lipolytic mesotherapy protocols are defined after a thorough morphological and medical history assessment, to identify treatment areas, session schedule and any contraindications. Therapy is usually delivered in courses of regular outpatient sessions, and may be combined with carboxytherapy or other body-contouring technologies to enhance results.

The goal is to achieve a gradual, harmonious reduction of localised fat, preserving natural body proportions, improving overall body contour and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
