Lipolytic mesotherapy is a targeted treatment for localised fat that uses intradermal microinjections of fat-reducing and draining agents. It is designed for small, resistant fat deposits that do not respond well to diet and exercise, typically in areas such as the abdomen, flanks, saddle bags, inner thighs, knees and, in selected cases, the upper arms.
Using very fine needles, specific medications are injected locally to act on adipocytes, promoting their gradual emptying, while improving microcirculation and lymphatic drainage, leading to a more even reduction of volume.
